EV fleet questions
Which GPS devices does Velosta work with?+
Supported Intellicar and Track360 devices can provide GPS and battery data. Remote controls vary by provider and vehicle. Share your device model so we can confirm compatibility.
Who can press the immobilise button?+
Only admins. Staff and managers can see location and battery but cannot lock or unlock a vehicle. Every command is written to the activity log with the user, time and device.
Do I need to buy new hardware?+
No. If your EVs already have a supported device, Velosta connects to it through the provider's cloud. You map each vehicle to its device once inside the app.
How does daily rent collection work for gig riders?+
At booking you pick a week or month duration. Day one rent and the deposit are collected at handover, by cash or Razorpay link. From day two, a payment link goes out on WhatsApp every morning with a 10:00 reminder. The rent calendar shows each day as paid, due or in arrears, and the ledger posts every payment automatically when Razorpay confirms it.
Is this available for every Velosta customer?+
Connected-fleet features are switched on per business because they depend on your telematics provider and payment gateway setup. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll enable it for your fleet during onboarding.
